Picky vs selective
Selective means knowing what you want. Picky often means holding surface filters that shrink the pool without predicting relationship quality. This tool only measures scarcity — you decide the label.
Patterns that shrink pools fast
- Hard 6'0"+ floors
- Very high income floors stacked with youth
- Ultra-narrow age windows
- Many independent “top 20%” traits at once
A useful exercise
Run the calculator, then remove your least important hard filter and recalculate. If the pool jumps dramatically, that filter was doing most of the work.
